One of the more exotic types, the psionics have two big physical differences (so to speak) first their wings, while membrane based, have these specialized super thin scales in between the membrane more akin to a bugs wing. second, no, that plasma butterfly is not very big, psionic types are actually quite small. about half the size of other types.
the psionic type however is quite versatile at low levels being able to read thoughts and manage simple levitation, and at higher levels even managing control over other beings.
these types are usually quiet and collected preferring calm meditation to help with control as even masters of thieir skill need to take care to avoid contact with the head of another creature, for them thoughts are transferd as easily as germs if they are to touch another’s head. this can go both ways for them either accidentally reading another’s thoughts or sending their own over.
In combat these types even at low levels are quite capable of fighting alone but do even better when paired with a fire or earth types. psionics are usually sent in as spies to retrieve information taking advantage of their small size and powers to accomplish their missions. at higher levels however these types can enter battle alone and use their mind control abilities to control squads worth of the enemies and turn them on themselves
