Artraccoon USAThr MiG-45 "Flashbar" is the first Russian aerospace interceptor, developed in 2019. The orbit capable interceptor carries missiles on pylons and has a nose mounted laser autocannon. It still serves in PVO service.
Design notes: This is an older illo that I finally got around to coloring. I got to pattern this craft after one of my all-time favorite aircraft, the MiG-25 "Foxbat". I love MiG and Sukhoi aircraft!!
I tried to stay true to Soviet/Russian colors and markings...including the "quality maintance" badge on the nose( kinda hard to see at this scale).
