EnormityOk, first thing's first... I used :thrillseekers's image Colorful Monday as a reference image (from DeviantArt.com).
Anyway, this drawing doesn't do the actual image justice at all. I love the actual photo for it's shades and colors, but could not even halfway duplicate it here. And I completely destroyed the pattern on the tights, not to mention that I didn't give myself enough room to do the bottom of the image...
But overall, I'm happy about how this has turned out. It was practice to help me with my shading, and I actually like it, for the most part. Yes, it's not as good as it could have been, but I can definitely see areas where I am improving.
All of this was done with a regular #2 Dixon pencil. I need to get some pencils that are meant for this type of drawing...
