TzoliBased on Friedman's description this 1943 July variant was the Ultimate desired AA battery modernization suite for the Nelson class proposed by DNC (Director of Naval Construction). The description states the installment of 4 twin 5,25" turrets on each side in place of the 6" twin turrets, and an addition of a pair of Octuple Pom-Poms for a total of 8 and an expected Oerlikon armament of 2 twin and 48 single (Nelson) or 52 single mounts (Rodney). Other changes include the installment of the Mark IVGB or Mark VI HACS but with Type 285 radars, two in place of the 6" directors on top of the bridge and two more in place of the Pom-Poms next to the tripod mainmast thus relocating them.
I've relocated the said Pom-Poms on the stern while the extra two mounts were added next to the bridge in place of the forwardmost 4,7" AA guns. Oerlikons were added where place was available.
