Basically, I wanted to think about one thing with this half-joking art.
The thing is that while watching Yamato 2205 I began to notice changes after "Warriors of Love". Kodai's mental traumas began to be shown more and more often, but at the same time, nothing like this is shown with Mori. As is known, her memory has been fully restored and she clearly remembers the most terrible thing that has happened to her in all this time. And after all this she... I can't say that she changed much in her external behavior. However, the scene when she began to protect Kodai's ship from the planet's debris on the Asuka ship and scream over the radio... It seemed like a cry from the heart. The same as when she was in the medical bay among the corpses and even earlier, when she screamed at Dessler.
Therefore, despite the irony in the comic, I wanted to put forward my assumption through this art that she will only be able to truly open up to Kodai if they leave for civilian life.
