At the end of April 1943, DGD (Director of Gunnery Division) proposed a "Short Term" and "Ultimate" AA modernization proposal for the Class. This drawing represents the "Short Term" variant where DGD envisioned 4-6 twin 4" guns per side replacing the entire secondary and heavy AA battery. DTSD (Director of Training and Staff Duties) considered this to be a poor margin. I'm not sure why, because the AA firepower of the ship would be increased considerably by the sheer number of barrels per side. Light AA armament change was not stated so I put half the usual desired Oerlikon mounts so 25 barrels on the ship. Pom-Pom was unchanged compared to her 1942 state, only all of them received a radar equipped director. HACS Director number and layout was again unknown so I installed two more in place of the 6" DCT on top of the bridge bringing their number to four.
