The drawing represents HMS Nelson as looked like in 1942 after she got her mid war AA refit of an extra Pom-Pom atop the 2nd or B 16" turret, 20mm Oerlikon guns (13 in number) Surface search, AA director and Pom-Pom director radars as well as her own colour scheme. As the 20-barrel UP launchers deemed unsatisfactory in AA defence these weapon system got removed as well.
