GameArtist1993I wanted to redraw the old Pokemon drawing I made a long time ago to find out if I've improved so much so I can be seen as a good artist so I'm always eager to learn and adept anywhere from references to accuracy in detail ensuring whichever I'm drawing must to be perfect or else I can always mess around trying out new techniques because when I use Krita, I always know to change layer type from Multiply which darkens the shading of the base colouring, then add Overlay to add more shading or lighting.
The drawing was drawn entirely from scratch so I had help with Bing Image Creator to type down a prompt with the forest wording and incorporate the copy/paste function to use it as a reference and it's a lesson on experimenting with other techniques that go beyond reading tutorials from reading books for beginners related to digital art.
I went with Heracross because it's one of the few Generation 2 Pokemon that I think is really cool because it's a Bug/Fighting type Pokemon and it hits like a truck with base 125 Attack and access to moves like Megahorn and Close Combat and which makes me wish the other Johto Bug-type Pokemon were just as incredible as Heracross and Scizor, it's also one of my favourites among the second generation because it's based on a rhinoceros beetle.
