The Angels are spiritual (without a physical body), heavenly, or supernatural beings, usually humanoid with bird-like wings. They are the most basic units of the Heavenly Hierarchy.
These Angels mainly serve as the messengers or intermediaries between various Gods and humanity, something prevalent in various traditions such as the Abrahamic religions. Though, there are also times that they play an active hand in fighting off the forces of evil (particularly Demons) when the time calls. They are mainly armed with their special Flaming Swords, fiery and holy enough to smite and dispel evil. These swords can sometimes fall even those well above their rank physically, provided a well-placed strike. With such mighty weapons, they often purge their enemies with ruthless efficiency, leaving only ash in their wake.
Other than their swords, the Angels are renowned for their insane speed in battle, both physical movement and combat reflexes. This is helped due to their innate ability of Autonomous Ultra Instinct, a highly advanced mental state where their body is able to "think" and act on their own, in contrast to normal minds that require sending input to their bodies before it can take action.
While Angels are also generally seen as merely being a single rank which divides into more elite subgroups, such as the Archangels, Cherubim and Seraphim, within the rank of Angels themselves is also a complex array of sub-ranks. Some of the upper ranks can even rival the angels of the First Sphere, directly making an audience with the Abrahamic God himself.
