JordanNVFXTime to reveal a new character! And it's a fun one!
It's a soldier from the Brazilian Army! Yes, the theme of war & politics are very big in my cartoon.
But there's a surprise twist to this. Even though he's Army, they're not actually at war with any other
country. Instead, I have a much grander idea of where the conflict originates from and why people like him
are going to be needed. I hope to explain more of what I mean as I continue to make more progress on this project.
And before I go, this character was actually inspired by a real life paramilitary unit. I was actually impressed to learn that in Brazil, there existed a group of freed Black slaves who protected the Imperial family. This knowledge is very important to me and I will no doubt include elements like this in the story...
