UWFlowSerena was a volunteer in a monster shelter. The center was there to help and heal the injuries of peaceful monsters, often the target of the more aggressive types of monsters.
The shelter used healing slimes to cure the wounded monsters, which was more effective than the healing magic of any sorcerer. Although Serena did use magic on monsters from time to time, she went there to help recharge the magic of the healing slimes, who could absorb her magic somehow.
It was a tradition for the mage to bring her swimsuit, since she loved very much to take a swim and help the aquatic healing slimes underwater, in their natural habitat!
