カツウ・無理It's been kinda a hot minute since I've last drawn my berry farmer. I just remembered that I had made some sketches of characters that are seldomly drawn in the beginning of this year, one of them being of my farmer (in a different design to change things up a bit and trying to make them look a bit more mature, even drew them specifically with Gastrodon)... but I never colored ans of those sketches huh.
The concept was the typical berry harvesting that I basically always do, though to fit them both in the frame it's a cozy sitting chilling moment I guess. If I think about it, it's a little funny I only draw my farmer with shellos. Like, this character has no lore or personality or name or anything (on purpose!), but back in June 2018 I did a daily pokemon journey draw thingie and that's where their pokemon team comes from essentially, but I planned them out beforehand to match up for some of the prompts, so the only mons I remember are Shellos (the starter that had to evolve, but I basically never draw them as Gastrodon), Budew (baby mon) and Audino (Shiny mon). And tbh I wouldn't really call the last of these canon. Bruh, reminiscing about this makes me think that I should do another of those, but I know exactly that I do not have the fortitude to pull off daily drawings.
Back to this drawing. Since the black parts made chunks of my lineart obsolete I had decided after finishing the piece that I'd d o an alternative color version with the original color scheme,
I also noticed after posting this that my farmer and the last Sally I did bascially have the hand on the left side posed identically, except with my farmer I forgot the thumb. I did think about trying to fix that but. Uh. I feel like I can get away with claiming the thumb is hidden behind the big pants.
