Part of a November challenge where I draw 30 drawings and avoid correcting mistakes in an attempt to embrace imperfection...but due to having a nasty cold, I've had to postpone the challenge. But I did do something for Thanksgiving!
Here we can see a mother Imaginary Friend Creature and the offspring who offers a gift of fresh fruit, the mother extending her tongue to lead it directly into her mouth. Note the eye contact, and how the 2 extend their tentacles to touch the eye of the other. For this species, stroking the eye is an act of affection and sexual gratification, like a firm version of a handshake. On the side, a newcomer to the group, an adult adopted as the mother's own child, watches intently with much curiosity.
