カツウ・無理Look at me, remembering that I wanted to upload daily to get uptodate! Even though I haven't been feeling like drawing at all lately so I'll inevitably run out of stuff rather quickly (only 9 days left to go if I manage to remember this daily, apparently).
This was a very random thing; I basically thought of this nice pose that I could use for a Kitakami design I had sketched a bit a few months ago (I mostly think I did a limited palette thing bc the last character drawing I did had also been one, it did come in handy for this tho bc I haven't decided at all what colors the regular kitakami design should have, so I was pretty much free to decide what to do here). Although even choosing to draw Molly is very random itself; I hadn't seen the movie in at least a literal decade (possibly closer to two decades).
I did end up rewatching the movie like a month later. And probably should have done so sooner because actually watching the movie (instead of just seeing some screenshots) would have really helped with figuring out how Molly's hair is supposed to work.
With this one I didn't know what to do for the background either, especially since there's already so many different colors on Molly and Teddiursa themselves that drawing an actual background wouldn't have worked. So I somehow ended up with this kinda abstract background. The circles are supposed to like, emulate festival lanterns. I think the 'white' outlines on mostly black background with differently colored shapes work really well, so I only made one other piece with this kinda background and from then avoided it (as it felt too 'easy'/cheap to do).
