Spectator's Notes: Any person can be wrapped into the vice grip of Entoan's Forest, but there's always a reason why they're brought there. What that reason may be I can't really tell you. We oversee someone walking through the snowy wasteland of the Frostbitten Tundra, her name is Mayumi Joutouguu and she's a Haniwa statue that has been given life by whoever created her. All I can divulge is that the forest has brought Mayumi here because it needed help.
The cold didn't seem to bother her much, but she heard an eerie chiptune in her ears that sounded clearer whenever she followed the right path thus after a decently long trek Mayumi happened upon a battered colosseum that had been lost to time. So she walked into it.
"A colosseum? Here of all places?" Mayumi ponders.
Walking into the structure Mayumi spots something familiar. A bunch of Haniwa on the stands all collectively staring at her as if they were expecting her, their green eyes glowing brightly.
"They look... so odd," Mayumi questions, as they aren't made of stone but more closely resemble snowmen. Then the entrance behind Mayumi becomes blocked, and the snowy Haniwas begin chanting in a strange language and putting their gaze into the middle of the Colosseum.
Rising with some odd mechanism, Mayumi witnesses a bizarre suit of armor comprised of Haniwa. Then the snowy Haniwas stop their chanting and exclaim. "Free her," they all say.
The armor then starts jerking as it begins to glow. It rises to its feet, and a number of arms start releasing from its body, each bearing a weapon covered in frost. The giant then honorably bows before slinging its ax at Mayumi.
Dodging attack after attack from the giant's weapons, Mayumi predicts its movements as it's slow. However, the more it learns from Mayumi, the faster the giant begins attacking. The giant then unleashes darkened spirits from its body, leaving Mayumi unable to focus on all of them. The giant begins taking opportunities to strike the Haniwa soldier, breaking off bits of her.
Despite all this Mayumi manages to cut off one of its arms making it release its mighty sword. With an idea in mind, Mayumi quickly grabs the giant's sword and a mysterious energy flows through her body. Her body repairs itself and her appearance changes to a more wintry look as her hair grows longer, her eyes become sparkly, and her dress changes as well. Mayumi lobs off the giant's legs and a few arms with one swing from the sword. Then a cracked heart suddenly manifests on the giant's chest
"A weak point?" Mayumi thinks to herself.
Tearing out the heart comes a vengeful spirit the one that the snow Haniwa wants freed. Despite its scowl, Mayumi felt sad for the child, and as the Haniwa began cheering for Mayumi she made it her mission to free this child from its damnation. Go forth Mayumi!
