Polaris For YouCarrying on from Scin's Alma post we have another one for Red. Like I said, Red will be "busy" during the fight with the Corrupted monster thing. I still don't have a name for it. It's big, scary, and does tons of damage. I don't have a pipeline set up to get Red from point A to point B here, but the long and short of it is she's going to be helping out at the Clinic where the group will end up at following the battle. This works out perfectly because my players love Red and this gives me another excuse to make more cute stuff for her. It also comes with a little bit of lore.
Red will show up after Scin goes to her and Rena's room to rest. Indigo will be forcing Scin to lay down before she dies of exhaustion, because it is very obvious she's running on fumes. Leena will come in with Nurse Red, who will do her best to sound like a doctor, referring to the room as a whole as patients. She's trying okay. Indigo informs her Scin is the patient, who Red will then refer to as "Sneaky Hunter", as she does after seeing Scin's mist ability. She'll ask Scin where she's hurt and open her coat, revealing about 30 injection needles she was "given" because "Doctors need needles."
Just to save time I'm gonna copy paste the script for this part. It speaks for itself.
Indigo. "Sneaky Hunter is just tired. She doesn't need any needles. Can you help her get to sleep?"
Red. "Hmm hmm!" She'll walk right up to Scin and lean directly over her face.
Scin. "Uh. Hi."
Red. "Hmm. Close your eyes."
Scin. "O...kay." Scin will close her eyes.
Red will bend down and put her forehead against Scin's. "Rest well, Sneaky Hunter. Your prey is waiting, in the dream place. Quiet yourself. Mask your scent. Ready your claws... Hmm... Good hunting." She'll slowly pick her head up.
Scin will let out a little "Hmph" and lie there motionless.
Red will nod, turn her head, and whisper. "Hmm hmm. She is hunting now. Be quiet. You'll scare her prey away." Red will very dramatically start tip toeing towards the door. She'll look back and put her finger over her mouth. "Shhhhhhh." She'll slowly make her way out of the doorway and start moving down the hall.
Leena. "She's perfectly capable of walking silently with no issue. She does that because she knows we think it's cute."
Von. "What did she do?"
Leena. "Red has some kind of... Ability. Or a spell. We don't know. It came from her time with her Pack. As far as we can tell she's able to put people and even animals into a relaxed state. Calm them down. It's like she's offering her presence to help ease their minds... Somehow. It's never knocked anyone out though... Scin must really be exhausted if it worked that well."
Von. "She puts up a strong front. But she's just a normal girl at the end of the day. Busy or not she needs to take better care of herself."
Indigo. "That runs in Lupa Team."
I don't have any more explanation than that for now. And I'm out of room anyway.
