I had a lot of fun with the colors in this one, and I wanted to practice backgrounds and lighting so I'm very happy with how this piece turned out! ₍₍ (̨̡⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)̧̢ ₎₎
I've been been reading several books about ancient Egypt since getting back into Ennead and it's all so interesting... Along with practicing my lighting, I also wanted to incorporate a lot of red into this piece since Set is associated with the color red (an 'evil' color associated with the desert "Red Land" and Lower Egypt, opposed to the 'good' color black, which was associated with Upper Egypt, the "Black Land" and its black, fertile soil).
The book I'm currently reading is "Egyptian Mythology: A Guide to the Gods, Goddesses, and Traditions of Ancient Egypt" by Geraldine Pinch if you're interested! 𓂀
