So following my DA at the time there would've been a bit more buildup and context to this, I was collabing with another artist on an animation and when we were first starting we considered trying to make it a sprite animation but switched back to traditional pretty quickly. I'd done enough though that I'd officially developed the taste for pixel art. I'd actually been meaning to try it for a while before that but that was what finally pushed me.
