From what I could find it really means love for friends and not for romantic partners. Now for Philia's sake I believe she strongly loves her friends, but her strongest love is for Kirito. Now this could just made up but its debated Plato believed that philia was a greater love than eros, and that the strongest relationships were those where philia led to eros. Eros is love between family and romantic partners. But more so romantic partners. Philia in my opinion is the goddess of love in the SAO gameverse. A goddess thirsting for Kirito's love and wanting more friends. Enjoy!
