Pokémon Leaks

Lady-Fantasma

Pokémon myths summary using one of my favorite Pokémons of all time and a husbando of mine: Kleavor.

I've been abandoning Pokémon for a few years now; I especially disliked the last two generations, they're horrible both graphically and I don't see any good changes in them, the Pokes are getting uglier (they've been ugly since the middle of the third generation onwards) and that makes me not really interested in them anymore... The ones I really liked that are new are Pokémon Sun and Moon (which, ironically speaking, a lot of people hate partly because of its darker lore... apart from the fact that it's very annoying with its tutorials (which I do support the people who disliked it for that reason)), and the Legend of Arceus, which I really enjoyed, it made me feel like Pokémons were more alive.

The thing is that these stories, which we have to be honest, we all know are Japanese folklore myths with a Pokémon skin on them... but it really piqued my interest because it made me imagine that they're more intelligent than just collectible items.

I remember there was a quote somewhere that said something like "Pokémon and humans used to sit together at the table" with an implication that they could get married or something; I don't remember from where that text is, but it's supposed to be "canon", not necessarily the implication, just the phrase... My theory is that Pokémons used to be smarter and on the same level as humans in ancient times... but with monster-like shapes, and I like that because I'm bored of Pokémons just being collectibles that go into the computer XD Pokémon-Amie was a good integration but I feel like it could be improved, more interactions and stuff.

I know it's not possible, but I prefer to think that this could have happened like this XD I'm not just saying this because Interspecies is my favorite category, but also because I want to feel that they are alive... I think that perfection was reached by Medabots anime with their little robots alongside Monsters in Dragon Quest, then comes Digimon, then other franchises and, almost at the end I would say Pokémon XD They really need to make them feel more real... in video games, I mean, I stopped watching the anime years ago.

This drawing is a summary of the Pokémon-skin myths that were leaked, they mentioned bows and the use of their skins to protect from the cold, so I assume that it has to be before the time of Legends of Arceus, and that's why I put those clothes on this OC woman XD Maybe I'll use her again later.

We know that nothing is canon, but now I prefer to see them like this XD Smarter and more interesting, and they can talk. They're not animals anymore, they're yokais to me.
