HeavyFreakedThis was done as a test, I'm well aware that the pose is kinda stiff and not very Sonic-like, this was just done cuz when I wanna tweak my art style in even a small way I like to test it on Sonic first cuz my art style is already heavily influenced by Sonic, so I assume if it looks natural on Sonic it'll look natural on anyone I draw, and in this case I found that using a smaller canvas allowed me to get a cleaner sketch out of a mostly-smooth brush, enough that I could just color it in and call it a finished piece, which is something I've been trying to pull off for years. I have no idea why that worked, cuz it's not like the canvas appeared any smaller on my display, when zoomed in it's just as big as a larger canvas, but for some reason telling the computer "this is an 8 by 9 instead of 11 by 17" made my non-electronic, not-plugged-into-the-computer, completely-organic-and-biological HAND work better
