JafanAdisAs with many People with Autism, Danny and Russell both have their own comfort items, which they take with them everywhere.
For Russell, it's his BIG Hardbound Notebook of poems that his adoptive family, the Talleys, gave him. He loves to carry it around with him should any poems are stories come to mind.
For Danny, it's his stuffed panda bears. He's afraid of dogs, so he carries around fluffy panda bears to ease his tensions. I know it must seem a bit odd seeing a big man like Danny carrying around a stuffed bear, but the texture, rubbing and petting the stuffed pandas help him concentrate when he's feeling stressed. Besides, he's quite used to having people stare at him on account of the large burn scar on his left arm.
Here Russell and Danny are spending some time together in a park, where Russell reads Danny some of his favorite poems he wrote. Danny REALLY likes other People with Autism and in another drawing he "adopted" Russell as his honorary little brother.
If these two were in the same universe, I think they would have close relationship with one another.
