IronHide73 years after graduating from Canterlot high school, Starlight and Trixie decided to treat themselves to a three-week trip to France's west Atlantic coast during the summer holidays, their destination was the Oleron island in the Charente-Maritime department 17, providing an excellent opportunity for these young women to discover this sumptuous french island while enjoying tasty seafood at mealtimes.
Arriving at La Rochelle airport, Starlight and Trixie rented a car, and it wasn't easy having to drive a car with a manual gearbox, being used to the automatic gearboxes of american cars, which wasn't a problem for Trixie as she was more used to this type of gearbox than her friend, having had the opportunity to travel to France several times during her teenage years.
After dropping off their suitcases at the Hotel Ile de Lumière in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, Starlight and Trixie donned bathing suits and headed for one of the beaches on the eastern side of Oleron facing France, packing tubes of sun cream, sunglasses, towels and a cool box with cold drinks. Now they can relax and enjoy the radiant sunshine and the summer temperature of 27 degrees.
