Tonight, I went to a concert. It featured a live orchestra playing all of the score to the first Back to the Future movie, which played on a big screen over the musicians. It was without hyperbole or exaggeration the single greatest experience I've had watching a movie.
In a room with a cheering audience who really wanted to be there, laughing and applauding during the show not just for the characters on screen, but the talented musicians performing the score in front of us. All for less than one of the scam "Cineplex VIP" movie "experiences," too.
I'll have to go back again!
Here's one of the first movie fanarts I ever did, of a friend and I doing our Marty and Doc impressions, posing with a DMC-12, ready to take us back to the future. I made this years ago, so it really is like a trip back in time... I think I've improved a lot since then, but you'll be judges of that!
