Polaris For YouI was looking through more of my Mid Game stuffies and noticed pretty much all of my references for Red are her being more serious. With how she's brought back into the game, this felt pretty off. So I made a quick pass over her to get a few more references.
You can refer back to Red's previous posts for her lore. I just wanna cover the context around this specific part of her lore. The players will see Red for the first time since fighting her in the Early Game around the middle of the Mid Game following Flaxen losing her title. She's a completely different person now. The best way that I can explain it is that she reverted back to a puppy. Instead of being the leader of her wolf pack, fighting every day for their collective survival in the forests of Alma, she's now part of an entirely new world. Completely out of her element, she's had to start over from scratch essentially.
In Indigo and Leena's care, Red has slowly become "domesticated." She's working to acclimate to her new surroundings. Learning how to speak properly and fully, learning how to live in society, how to make food rather than scavenging, etc. This has led Red to become extremely curious about everything. Again, like a puppy. So many new things, new people, new ideas. The easiest way to handle it was to just start over. Put herself in her new pack's hands and do her best to rebuild herself.
Personality wise, Red has done a complete 180 from the cold and calculating hunter she previously was. She's been replaced by a shy, extremely curious, and calm individual. Her skills though haven't dulled a touch. She's still just as sharp as she was when she was leading her pack, she's just far less inclined to fight things that stand before her. Combined with some new clothes and a bit of a makeover to clean up her hair, Red is now an adorable and beloved addition to the Neko Cities.
So here's a few new references for Red based more around her newer more innocent side. She's based off Projekt Red from AK.
