AHLeeCornerThese models have been made and used for a Metroid short, which I posted 4 months ago. I tried to post these BTS pics sooner though I didn't have a chance to do so.
2nd and 3rd pic: This is my own version of Skultera, an underwater fish creature, which appears in several Metroid titles, such as Super, Zero Mission, Fusion, and the Other M. Skultera had design variations depending on titles. I made a bit of a customized version that resembles the Other M version.
4th to 6th pic: This is a model of "Core X," a large variant of X parasites, which are revealed after their host forms are defeated. They were introduced in Metroid Fusion and returns in Dread. The design is based on the sprite from Fusion.
7th and 8th pic: This is a model of Samus' gunship from Metroid Fusion and Dread, which was a replacement of her iconic ship in the prologue of Fusion, prompting her to get a new one. We also see the same ship in Dread as well, though it has gone through a significant design change. I decided to combine the design of both Fusion and Dread version together.
9th to 12th pic: This is a model of Samus' paralyzer, an emergency weapon introduced in Zero Mission. When Samus' power suit was stolen by space pirates, the only arsenal left for her was the paralyzer, which she called a "rather useless emergency pistol." I had to use references of the original design as much as possible to be used for the animation and it wasn't easy.
