Lauren Frio1.) WHAT CONTEXT:
In this issue, the Justice League, traveling 3,000 years into the past to confront the League of Ancients, faces catastrophic defeat. The League of Ancients, a powerful group of ancient Atlanteans, captures Flash (Wally West) and gruesomely mutilates him. Despite Superman's (Clark Kent/Kal-El) attempts at negotiation, the conflict escalates into a brutal battle. The League of Ancients proves to be far superior, leading to the downfall of the Justice League members:
• Superman is defeated by the Anointed One after a high-speed collision.
• Plastic Man is turned to stone by Gamemnae and subsequently shattered by Tezumak.
• Green Lantern's (Kyle Rayner) heart is extracted by Manitou Raven.
• Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz) is incinerated by Rama Khan's magic.
• Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) are killed in a brutal manner.
The Justice League's dead bodies are displayed as trophies, and the ancient Atlanteans celebrate their victory with a festival. Meanwhile, Manitou Raven preserves the spirits of the fallen heroes within Green Lantern's heart and entraps himself in a cave, awaiting the chance to return to the present.
2.) MY THOUGHTS ON THIS:
When I found out about this comic, I was like "WTF", but... looking at Wonder Woman's dead body displayed made my eyes widen in curiosity, though it's better than Gal Gadot's death in the Snyder Cut (that one scene), and I hope some of the creators of this comic will remake this shot (but in close ups and HD looks).

However, all image of Wonder Woman's dead body after the two original images were AI generated image, with a bit of edits using Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation 2010. If you're asking me, I found this as BS because they all died like that, but their deaths are kinda interesting, and something tells me that after I posted this, I some people will recreate this image.
