This art style is more fitting for a light novel. However, and I know this is merely a matter of opinion and taste, I generally find the current light novel style to be... how should I put it? Cold, maybe? It's cold, sharp and digital. That's how I feel about it. So, for my light novel, I went with a different style, that I personally think is uncommon and imperfect but feels warmer and with human soul. I like it a lot, but I don't know if it will be well received by readers of light novels and manga/anime fans.

A scene from Clashing Feelings:
Tarou: Thanks. By the way, Yamada-san, your playing was great!
Sachiko: You too, Sawada-san! We are going to win this!
Owner-san: (Are they still calling each other using family names?) WAIT JUST A SECOND!
Tarou + Sachiko: ?
Owner-san: Before you go, I have to make sure you are a couple. It’s on the rules.
Tarou: Of course we are.
Sachiko: Un, un.
Owner-san: Then, prove it!
Tarou + Sachiko: How?
Owner-san: If you’re a couple, why don’t you kiss?
Tarou + Sachiko: EEEEEHHHHHHH?
Owner-san: What’s wrong?
Tarou + Sachiko: Nothing. – They shake their heads.
Tarou + Sachiko: (This is bad…)
