FARHANA HACKETT

Farhana and her younger brother Jamal were war orphans, having lost their parents during the (fictional) Siege of Khartoum. Farhana still recalls the relentless mortar shelling of the city, and the then-10 year old thought she was dead when an apartment building collapsed on top of them. Miraculously, the pair survived, but it did take a few hours before the pair were discovered by peacekeepers when the rubble above them were cleared. The commanding officer of the peacekeeping force, taking pity on the two, decided to adopt them, Hence, the adoption of the last name "Hackett" after their adoptive father, and having English citizenship.
Things would have stayed peachy if Farhana was not exposed to powersuit technology by her adoptive father. Hackett was pretty reluctant for Farhana to pursue this course, having rescued her from the horrors of war, and it took a very passionate plea from Farhana for Hackett to relent, granting her entry to Orbian Academy.
Farhana is often described as "calculative", always weighing in on all options before making a decision. While some may balk at her "slow" decision making, others value her input. Currently, details on Farhana's powersuit are classified.
