My 10th OC for Blank Canvas, a "Hajime no Ippo"-inspired female boxing story:
Name: Terra Tao
Age: 24
Country: Great Britain/China
Height: 5’3
Weight: 125 lbs
Division: Featherweight
Nickname: Terracotta
Style: Defensive Genius
Signature Move: Emperor’s Eternal Defense
Terra was born to a British mother and a Chinese father, and she was named after the Terracotta warriors who defended the ancient Emperors of China. Her parents were extremely passionate about pottery and often brought her into their workshop, leading her to become involved in the family business as well. After finishing high school, she decided to take over the family business, a decision her family was proud of. They did not pressure her to pursue university if she didn't want to. However, her family encouraged her to have a side income in addition to the pottery business, as customers didn't frequently walk in to buy pots.
Finding the perfect fit for her was a challenge, but then she came across the "legendary card" and saw how many female fighters' lives had been transformed. Inspired, she took up boxing. Initially, it was tough because she didn't see herself as aggressive as the other women, but she was gifted with a sturdy body and solid stance, which made her a defensive stalwart. She pressed on and eventually became a professional boxer, while still working as a potter on the side—a peaceful endeavor that served as a stress relief outside the chaos of the squared circle.
