This is just another technical rant post. I've been trying to render for some time now, and I've always thought that ray tracing was better. But there have always been times when things look really good in the viewport, only for Iray to render them weakly.
I used to think I was crazy, but today I encountered another similar situation. Here's the exact same scene rendered with three different profiles: viewport, RSL, and Iray.
I don't know what you guys think, but I believe the viewport render is the best of the three. It gives just enough shadow to the character and makes them look badass.
So what do you guys think? Kindly leave your comments below, or if you have better rendering tips, please let me know.
