The Photo of Rodney in 1932 shows that by this time the RN was decided to install the original Pom-Pom outfit for the two ships. 4 mountings were to be installed on the ships and the photo shows that at least two were to be located at the base of the Tower structure partly recessed in it while the 2nd pair either in place of the Torpedo Director Towers or between to the aft main and secondary gunnery director towers. Eventually only 2 multiple Pom-Poms were installed by 1936 (one in 1933 and another in 1934/35) in place of the Torpedo Director Towers.
The drawing shows the likely placement of these 4 AA gun mountings with the added Mk I HACS (High-Angle Control Station) on top of the mast and two Pom-Pom directors.
