POLI AND TIA!!!
While there's a much wider range for competitive Latin dancing, competitive Standard Ballroom dancing has much narrower ones: All men will wear suits like what Poli wear here. You can see something like this in various Ballroom dancing events, such as Blackpool Dance Festival shown here.
Poli and Tia are dancing a Waltz. They’re doing promenade turns, but we record them in different angle. The pose here are derived from "Win with Basics" cover which featured Augusto Schiavo and Caterina Arzenton.
Poli and Tia formed a partnership since August 2019, representing Italy, after splitting from their previous partners. Whether in real world like where we are or in Alternate Universe as shown here, Poli and Tia are above the rest, ahead of Dusan and Valeria Dragovic by a little.
Professional Standard Ballroom Championship in Blackpool Dance Festival is one of the oldest competitions ever held, since 1920! From days Bill and Bobbie Irvine, Richard and Janet Gleave, Marcus and Karen Hilton, Luca Baricchi and Loraine Barry, Augusto Schiavo and Caterina Arzenton, William Pino and Alessandra Bucciarelli, Mirko and Edita Gozzoli, to now, this competition is the core of the Blackpool Dance Festival itself.
Professional level of competitive dancing only allows couples with teaching licenses; thankfully, Poli and Tia are.
By the way, Tia’s hair is slightly remodeled for this showcase.
