Stand Name: Self Control
Stand User: Haru from Beastars
Stand Ability: Very likely a typical short-range brawler not unlike Star Platinum, but perhaps with an added fire effect, likely trading attack and defense power for a bit more speed and range. Capable fighter, though because Haru isn't really a fighter in the typical sense, it is likely comparatively weaker than other Stands belonging to far more powerful individuals with a stronger physical will and disposition.
Anyway . . .
One is a shagging bunny, and the other is a bunny shagging.
IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE BUNNIES MAKE MORE BUNNIES. A LOT. THE SONG IS ABOUT FUCKING. HARU IS ABOUT FUCKING. CINDERACE HAS A LOT OF ART ABOUT FUCKING.
"Dosypoo, what the hell are you doing? This is dumb, literally no one asked for this."
Thats the neat part; you didn't have to.
Considering Stands are a psychic mannifestation of their User's . . . uhh, psych, obviously their physical appearance and form would be molded by that. Haru is a bunny, so her Stand would likely manifest as something kinda-sorta similar to one. She is a bit hot-headed, passionate and bold, all traits symbolized by fire, with Cinderace being a pure Fire-Type. She is very quick to jump on things and has harsh words and rebutals for anyone either deserving or unprepared for it, which matches Cinderace's high Attack and Speed stats. Haru has a zest for life, and the Cinderace's we've seen all seem very enthusiastic and excited simply to exist. Haru likes to get bent, and Cinderace has A LOT of art emphasizing what people want to do to this poor bunny that I dont need to go into detail about. They are quite a match.
"Self Control" by Laura Branigan is a rather slow-burning song that is about losing yourself to the urges of . . . something. It can be interpreted a lot of ways, but it's pretty obvious what most people take it as. She speaks about "Living Among The Creatures Of The Night", which fits with the fact Haru's world is all animals and they're all INTERESTING folk in that world, and, well, she definitely lives in that society. It has a few intense instrumental riffs within it, despite being overall reletively low-key, which I felt fit Haru's "Hidden" passionate side. The lyrics also point towards someone who is surrendering into themselves, perfectly fine letting things happen as they do and living for the moment, which also seems very much like Haru.
It all made sense so I did it.
I'm gonna be completely honest, this is the first time I've ever drawn a Pokemon, as both strange and hilarious as that whole concept is to me, and I am really not sure what to think of that considering not only who the Pokemon is (such as the fact I dont typically like Fire-types, and it comes from a generation I have not actually played, and the fact I'm not a rabbit person), but the subject matter surrounding it.
Inspiration just kinda does that I guess.
