Now I can go back on doing simpler drawings... soon.
Granted, I plan on doing some fan art on different stuff every once in a while so I won't come off as repetitive, so you can expect... well, different art... and fan art. Yep.
But now, Adventure Island anybody? It's essentially Nintendo's/Hudson Soft's Wonder Boy. However you think, I actually enjoyed playing it as a kid on my NES. Granted I only had the sequel which is arguably the better early game (in my opinion of course) of this series because... dinos... and slightly horrifying looking bosses of course. (tough that green triceratops actually appeared in the third game, which I never had... you know what, nevermind, it's tribute drawing) That's the main reason why I made the drawing in the first place actually. They are just the best thing in the game with all their different abilities, right next to Yoshisfrom Super Mario World. (pretty funny considering that they appeared in around the same year. Coincidence?? Maybe) And there's just like... no appreciation art for this guys, so there it is. I based them from their ingame sprites since... there's is no accurate image of how they look like... not even from their manual. They look a bit pokemon-y, that's how I always thought really. But who knows. Granted I drew Higgins... excuse me, Master Higgins, the main protagonist from the game, that's how he's called actually, in the way that he appeared in the japanese boxarts, albeit stylized. (I kinda hate that dopey big chin sprite >:\ )
But for now, enjoy.
