Just as I said I would do, here's the final, digitalized version of my OC Susan Graham from my webcomic series Life of an Aspie wearing a Japanese yukata.
Because she's a green-eyed, red-headed American, I felt a lime green color would suit her best and because I'm a gaming fanatic, I ended up taking direct inspiration from the color scheme of the original Xbox console even though Susan's not an Xbox owner and in general, Microsoft's never done well with selling Japanese consumers on their signature gaming console.
I'm not an Xbox fan myself, and yet, well, sometimes inspiration appears in the most darndest of forms in this case when I was recently browsing gaming magazine covers on the site "RetroMags" and just out of curiosity, I decided to take a gander at what covers for Xbox focused gaming magazines looked like ultimately being inspired by the background color of an issue of "Xbox Nation" magazine from late 2004 featuring Halo protagonist "Master Chief" on the front cover.
With it now being summer vacation in LoaA, let's just say Susan lost a bet and now has to embrace her natural feminity as a tomboy young woman. Mwehehehehehe....
