TerickelI think this idea started from the basis of the end of Destroy All Monsters when the aliens pretend a fiery flying saucer is a new kaiju, in a 'what if it actually was a monster?' sort of way but it doesn't lead to much distinctive on its own. I thought a posture and build that wasn't very bird like might help, but it was missing something.
Then I decided he should be a bit of an homage to the Giant Claw. Bald to a degree, strange looking, he even has his feathers reduced to a small line down the back, here because the fire might burn anything that was too close to it so that it might not be a mohawk it's kind of like it to a degree.
