Terickel-- So, I can't name things worth a darn, still going ahead, just hoping maybe some people can suggest proper kaiju names as I go and they can end up in the story. Maybe I have to hold a contest and pay people, who knows. --
Its squid and fish locomotion clashes a little bit and makes its movement somewhat erratic, but it can still reach surprisingly high speeds and improve on that a lot when it channels water down its side structures and shoots it out the back like a water jet. Between that and a squid-like inking mechanism it's well suited to hitting a threat as it flees.
While it's fairly destructive to commercial ships, it's not eager to prove itself in battle and tends to avoid combat with targets that can hit back, making it annoying to try to pin down with military maneuvers.
It travels overland surprisingly well, but its tiny skittering improvised feet lose stamina quickly and it can only move itself quickly on land in short bursts. Its strange joined tentacles can swing its armored fin like a mace at near supersonic speeds, which is great for tearing through human structures but decidedly not a finishing move against other kaiju.
It did come out looking pretty silly from the more forward angle but I actually kind of like it, birds of prey suffer a similar problem of looking kind of dopey from head-on. I feel like it kind of plays to the idea he doesn't want to get into any kind of head on drug out fight and favors more hit and run style combat.
