As their forces have been thrown into total disarray, a small unit of NCR troops barely escaped with their life, among them was Tech Sergeant Reyes.
Unfortunately for her unit, their luck has run out when they come across several companies of Brotherhood of Steel, who subsequently slaughter them, as memory of HELIOS ONE still fresh in their mind.
Reyes was the sole survivor who's able to escape the ambush. She ventures further into ruins of what once a thriving city, as she navigates through the metro system she stumbles upon a vault door.
Thinking that she can find supplies and a mean to contact other NCR survivors in the region. Reyes expertise as tech expert allow her to bypasses the door and enter the vault.
Little did she know that Vault 55 specialize in stasis and cryogenic technology, as the place was created to help with food preservation. Along with how the former overseer of this vault issued stasis turret for its security.
Before she can venture further, she was shot by a turret. A stasis field immediately encases her body and lock her in place before she can even react. She desperately tried to reach out, cries for help, but nothing ever comes out.
Slowly but surely, she begin to lose her conscious as if the light goes out. She becomes frozen solid without actually turning to ice. And so she would remain as another decoration of a vacant vault, perfectly preserved. Cold and motionless, until she was discovered by an unlikely rescuer.
