Polaris For YouWhile I was looking back at my past posts I noticed Indigo and Leena have been around since V1. I adore my Alma Girls so it's time to show them some love like I did for Lupa Team. Way back in the day when I was first making my campaign, I had a ton of characters I wanted to add. Shamelessly, the vast majority of them were from my Waifu and Backgrounds folders. Melantha and Platinum are two of my favorites from AK, so I had to find a place for them to shine. That's when I decided to create the Alman Neko Cities for the two of them and set it up in Emmeria.
Indigo and Leena had the privilege of being the main characters for Alma, and I made sure they'd be around more than once so I could use them more often and get them more involved in the story. Lots of more with them. Because you really can't have enough of the two. They're a blast. As I wrote more and more story out, Red got involved and became a new member of Alma. Having her get close to Indigo and Leena was a perfect way to add another character I adore, Projekt Red, to the game in a meaningful way. Going further I added the event revolving around Flaxen losing her title and the group going back to Alma, where they would get to see the Alma Girls again and hang out.
I added Indigo being very interested in San Salvacion's air fleet after I wrote out the entire beginning of the Sand Island event. Since she was gonna get some extra attention later on, I decided to swap her with Leena for the Elite training just so she wouldn't be doubling up and leaving Leena in limbo. The Alma Girls are also present during the Belkan War event, from reaching Mt. Schirm until they defeat ND-2.
Should be obvious by now that Indigo is based off Melantha from Arknights. I love Melantha to death and am so happy I've been able to make art for her with NAI. V3 has a decent prompt for her, finally. Warms my heart. Enjoy Indigo all the way from V1 up to now.
Starting off we have Indigo's first NAI reference from back in V1, her original Beach outfit. I was using her in game art for her base. I decided to stick with that in the end. Then we have her V1 casual wear, so she'd have something cute to wear in the city. Lastly for V1 is her Sand Island armor, which she'd wear at the end of the Mid Game while joining the players for their Elite training. Since then I've swapped her with Leena.
After that we move to Indigo's V2 references with a basic reference followed by a more detailed base reference. Then her two pictures I used in the Alma Girls Wallpaper post, which has all 3 of the Alma Girls side by side in light and dark themes.
Her V3 references begin with another basic one. Then her Beach Update with one for day and one for night/sunset. Second last is Cadet Indigo, a little nod to her relationship with Captain Vist in the Late Game and her newfound dream of commanding her own airship. Wrapping her posts up we have her Wedding Dress for the Wedding event I'm still writing that's gonna happen in the Mid Game.
