|.Kutapika.|Known as “Lily” to the Moomin family, “Layla” is a strange creature. Originally from a village built on the water, she was feared by the villagers, due to her being part siren. Many of them saw her as a bad omen, thinking she’d use her powers to capsize their boats and kill sailors. However, she mostly kept to herself in a cave, where Snufkin found her.
Despite usually being fairly nice and well-mannered, she’s very obsessive and unstable.
She becomes easily attached to Snufkin, sometimes going as far as to insult and belittle Moomin for his relationship with him.
Other facts::
She doesn’t have a real name at all, the name “Layla” was given to her by her village, and she hates being called that. The name “Lily” was given to her by Snufkin, when she told him that they were her favorite flower, and she’s gone by that since.
Despite her young appearance Lily claims to have been around “Long before Moomin Valley was ever formed”
Due to her being around so long she has a love for ancient sea creatures, keeping some around as her companions
Her siren powers are weakened due to her being half water nymph
Her ability to control water is linked to her intent as opposed to her emotions, so even if she is mad at someone unless she plans on harming them, her powers will not go out of control
