HGS130FairladyZUnlike the Liberty City & San Andreas games, the Banshee in the Vice City titles were based on the forth generation "C4" Chevrolet Corvette, as the Dodge Viper didn't exist in the mid-1980s back then(Vice City being in 1986, and for the prequel Stories game, 1984).
This iteration of the Banshee was pretty much like a spiritual successor to the "Stinger Z29" from the first GTA game(where it was also based on a C4 Corvette). Likewise, the "Invetero Coquette" from the HD era—particularly the model in GTA IV—is also the same case to the VC Banshees, with the car sporting a new "C5" Corvette design.
