Believe me or not, my favorite scene with these two is from a filler-arc XD The very end of the Garlic Jr-saga has this moment where Gohan passes out from exchoustion and stumbles against Piccolo who catches him. In the Japanese version, there is no dialogue after that. But in the English dub, Piccolo tells others there that Gohan is alright and just needs some rest. He then says the line seen in the picture. Wether or not he says it out loud or thinks it, we may never know since his face is not shown as the line is played. There is no echo in his voice though, so I'm willing to guess that he actually does say that out loud. Even where there are other people in there. Even when Gohan can't hear him. He loves Gohan so much I can't ;__;
This pic takes place some moments after when Piccolo picks Gohan up to take him home. He holds the sleeping kid near him and places a kiss in Gohan's hair before flying him home.
Super happy how this turned out. I love how the colors turned out and the shading and the pose and the faces and aaaaaaaaaa This is my favorite entry I've done!! X3
