EiirlysMy first #mermay piece and I chose Sirena Von Boo from Monster High as my first. I started her back in April things happened and I finished her tail on Sunday. >__< So late! ANYWAY, I was trying to make a list of mermaids to do for the 31 days of May, but I realized that I would be pushing myself too hard and in the end I settled for maybe like one or two mermaids a week.
Sirena wasn’t my first thought, but I already started her. I was going to use purple, but the cafe’s lighting confused me and I thought I was using purple. I took note of the chains, but since it would have been my first time with them, it put me off for a moment, but in the end, I’m happy with how it turned out. The biggest pièce de résistance, IMO, are the tail, the hands and the hair; the tail is basically a copy of her official artwork. For the eyes, do you guys prefer her with or without pupils? (I’ve uploaded differences of with and without the pupils.
P.S. - I already have a few mermaids planned, but if you guys want to throw in one or two suggestions, I can try them! Thank you!
