Sylvanas had been feeling herself sink down as Jaina faded. She wasn't even paying attention to her prey anymore. Why bother? She was out, and if the Banshee Queen wanted it, dead. There was no possible way she could turn the tables back once more. Sylvanas knew that her pride wouldn't let her. She was as bound by the rules as she was by the banshee's foul magic.
Sylvanas did not expect Jaina to snap.
Suddenly, the queen was falling to the floor outside the ring- the victim underneath her gone in an instant. With the absolute last ounce of consciousness she had left, Jaina blinked into the center of the ring, teleporting out from underneath her captor. Laying in the middle of the canvas, the world spun around her. Her vision was still fading in and out, barely awake. She was at least free, but if she didn't do something, it wouldn't be for long.
It only took Sylvanas a second to realize what had happened, and clamber back up to the ropes.
"Suddenly over your feeble pride? Oh how the mighty have fallen," Sylvanas taunted as she climbed back through the ropes. Determined hatred spread across her face.
Jaina only had a moment to act. Fortunately for her, she's an incredibly potent archmage. The "no spellcraft" rule had certainly not been for her benefit. Sylvanas would understand this mistake. With a quick spell, Jaina cast a small shell of antimagic over the Horde commander. Hopefully Sylvanas got her value out of that outburst, because that was the last spell she would be able to use!
