FantasyTapoutSylvanas is the queen of the undead. The emphasis here is on "undead". They more or less have no need for air- not at a scale that losing it for a minute during a submission hold is going to affect them. The Queen isn't going to suffer from lack of breathing. What she does have, however, is blood. Undead still bleed, their brains still need to function. A sleeper hold like what Jaina has applied is still going to affect her, even if it may not knock her out entirely.
The Banshee Queen was fully locked up. She was pinned, she didn't even have the mat to push off of. Jaina's hooks were locked in, Sylvanas couldn't roll at all. She could barely wiggle. There was no obvious way out of this. No mundane way, anyhow...
She is the Banshee Queen for a reason, and she was not going to lose here. Not like this.
With an ear piercing scream, Sylvanas exploded forward. The force flattened Jaina down into the mat, throwing her arms to the sides as the queen ascended. A smoke-like haze billowed out from around Sylvanas as she phased upwards into the air, abandoning her fully corporeal body. There was nothing left for the Admiral to hold on to.
Jaina quickly recovered from the blast, pulling her hands up to shield her face from whatever was coming. This was not what she had expected- mostly because it was wholly against the rules of their bout. This was supposed to be a purely physical content. A match of strength and dominance, not... whatever this is! As these thoughts rushed through her head, though, it got worse. She felt a pull on her wrists as she was yanked toward the ropes, her back sliding across the mat...
