LancVarious research sketches of shipgirls done during late 2023 and early 2024
Ticonderoga's attire was partially inspired from the uniforms featured in the Starsector mod UAF (United Aurora Federation).
Second girl in an erratum as I depicted FDR (illust/109953853) with the wrong squadron emblem on her rigging (it's the Jolly Rogers, not the Sundowners).
Third is Smolensk. I'll ditch the mace/gun hybrid for a traditional SMG instead. Probably mixed with a quad 57mm mount.
Fourth is more an exploration of the Broadsword-class FFGs as a whole rather than a single girl, hence the face being a "placeholder".
Fifth is Lion. I took inspiration from the UAF's leader, Queen Aeria (illust/98165172), for her likeness. In hindsight, I should make her hair more bushier and messier so it look more of a lion's mane, maybe ditch the side braids and have a red/black combination for her color scheme, the red being a continuation of the KGV class. Maybe amber eyes instead of green.
