“The corridors are all the same!”
She had been swimming though each corridor desperately trying to find something, anything to help her situation. She eventually noticed that when she swam into a corridor she would end up back in the same spacious room she started in. All of the corridors were somehow leading her back to the same room she started in.
“MMMGHPF”
“I'm lost, I'm lost, I'm drowning….I'm lost and going to drown a in cave no one can get into!”
She was now almost at the four minute mark. Fear had completely taken over at this point, she now stayed floating in the cave just trying to conserve any air she had left. As an experienced freediver, she knew better that to let the air go, but for some reason she couldn’t help it. It felt like there was something in the back of her head telling her to just let go of it all and embrace the water. She eventually let out the last of her air, she knew what would happen next.
“mmgh……AAAAGGGLBLBLBLBLBL”
She was about to breath, she couldn’t stop it.
“No…..no no no no no no NO NO NO NO NO!”

*cough*……..“GASP”
As she took the biggest breath she had ever taken, Claire jolted up from her bed. In her scared state she nearly jumped up and fell of the side.
“GASP….*cough**cough*……GASP”
She took a few minutes to catch her breath. She was in her dorm room, still in her pajamas. She looked over to the clock and saw it was now dawn. She sat up in the bed hugging her legs and shivering slightly.
“It was only a dream….it was only a nightmare, it wasn’t real.”
She believed it for a moment, until she saw the saltwater she had threw up onto her blanket and noticing the taste of it in her throat…..
