linestlar79A minute and a half later Claire’s fear was starting to well up. The caves were thankfully quite spacious, so she had plenty of room to maneuver. However, the corridors seemed endless and each one was now starting to look the same.
“Mmmgh”
The first spasm hits, though a small one. It almost startles her. Despite it being a dream, her need to breath sure felt real. Some bubbles had left her mouth.
“Don’t panic. The moment you panic is the moment its over.”
She tries to reassure herself, but she knows the trouble she is in. She is usually better than this. She knows she would never come into a cave like this, let alone without scuba gear, a dive buddy, or a plan. What was she even doing here?
“Better question, how did I get here!?”
Frustration and fear start to mix, as she hits the two and a half minute mark. Another burst involuntarily escapes her lips.
“Glub….glblb”
“Were the hell even am I?”
