New homeisland for the Kalandriks not long before a Gamma-Ray Burst hits their homeworld. It later became the home for the Talrrusan Republic led by Jolsar Kresh, daughter of Uoli'Tov, who was killed by Marcus Carpenter in his aggressive takeover of the Palace. It is on the other side of Nicodemus (What the Kalandriks call Saraphia).
The planet was recently discovered some decades ago when a group of Kalandrik scientists discovered it on the other side of the galaxy, but consequently discovered the nearby Gamma-Ray Burst as well. It wouldn't be long before the scientists were captured by Apostles (Soldiers for the empire) and the information secretly delivered to Marcus, who sees an opportunity to take his empire over there, with or without his loyalists.
Following Opalescence, it became a battleground between the republic and the loyalists terrorist organization called The Last Crusade (an alliance of both COMA and Kalandra Reborn, led by Flora Garfield.) Though even after taking over the planet, the alliance came to an end when DoomBringer (Nathaniel) kills Flora, not keeping his promise and continue his mission of wiping out all extent races in the galaxy, so that new life can take its place, given he sees the whole history of the empire as a mistake and a failure.
It was soon reclaimed by the republic following the annihilation of both The Last Crusade and Rhye (the last teleported all the terrorists onto the island before self-destructing to ensure the galaxy's safety). Once again, Jol takes charge, with her brothers Kildez and Eolsei serving as secratary of state and defence respectively.
